Abstract: The Lyle C. Molstad Photographs and Slides are a collection of images relating to Molstad. Topics include: rural settings in La Crosse County, Wisconsin (possibly the St. Joseph Ridge area); Molstad performing work for the La Crosse County Soil Conservation District; horses; street scenes in La Crosse, Wisconsin; the Molstad home at 1303 Liberty Street; the La Crosse County Courthouse; and other assorted images. Also included are a few newspapers clippings and photocopies of two letters written by Molstad's daughter, Mary Molstad. Materials range in date from approximately the 1940s through 2006.

Abstract: Original drawings of cartoons, circa March 1968-1996, 2003, 2005-2011, by Lyle Lahey which were published in the Opinion section of the Green Bay News Chronicle, and its predecessor, the Brown County Chronicle, concerning local, state, and national topics, as well as other current events, social issues, political figures, celebrities, and sports. After the Green Bay News-Chronicle ceased publication in 2005, Lahey continued to publish his cartoons online.

Abstract: Records consisting of Clerk's general record books, 1849-1967; Treasurer's account books, 1883-1978; election records, 1868-1907; Justice of the Peace dockets, 1858-1926, and a highway record, 1868-1901. Volume 1, page 199 contains the proceedings of a special meeting held on June 15, 1861, recording the townspeople's reactions to the outbreak of the Civil War.

Abstract: Legislative papers of Lynn Adelman, state Senator of the 28th Senate District since 1976. Included are constituent correspondence, memoranda and correspondence from Adelman’s office to other legislators and policy makers, background material, and press releases arranged by subject. Subjects include the Brewers Stadium, crime, driving under the influence, and issues of ethics particularly as it relates to the University of Wisconsin. The photographs principally consist of campaign head shots and of Adelman with constituents. The videos are primarily television broadcasts with Adelman.

Abstract: Postcards, photographs, drawings, ephemera, manuscript items, publications, posters, and blueprints collected and created by architect Lynn Anderson documenting the work of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. After graduating from engineering and architecture school, Anderson went to work for Wright as a family server and, after Wright's death, stayed on as a architect with Taliesin Associated Architects. Of particular note are the images of the aftermath of the fire and murders at Wright's home in 1914 including the hatchet used in the murders, and images of the destruction in Tokyo after the 1921 earthquake.

Included are materials for two National Organic Standards Board meetings (1995 and 1996), related to consideration of materials on the National List used in organic food production, and working files for the Organic Trade Association's American Organic Standards project (1999).

Abstract: Files of Lynn Farnol, director of advertising and publicity, consisting of correspondence, A-K only for January-June 1940. There are letters to and from the media, publishing companies, trade papers, theaters, and film production companies; extensive correspondence with United Artists (UA) branch managers and field agents, along with many inter-office memos, especially to and from UA vice president, G.D. Buckley; and a folder of employment applications. Subjects discussed include advertising budgets for pictures; premieres and other special events; and the solicitation of publicity in newspapers and magazines. Also treated are specific publicity ideas from Farnol and others, coordination of advertising policies with UA producers, and general personnel matters.

Abstract: Papers of Democratic State Senator and U.S. Congressman Lynn Stalbaum, representative of Wisconsin's 21st Senate District from 1954-1963 and the 1st Congressional District from 1964-1965. (Stalbaum unsuccessfully ran for re-election in 1966 and 1968.) The collection documents his political career, especially his campaigns, as well as issues of interest to his constituents. Included are press releases; newsletters; clippings; speeches; campaign materials; photographs; legislative, topical, constituent, and campaign correspondence; statements and testimony before committees; and project files. Of note is a file devoted to Stalbaum's work as chairman of the “Wisconsin Harriman for President Committee” containing Stalbaum's correspondence and Averell Harriman campaign material.
