Several series of letters from friends or scholars describe conditions abroad: Japan, 1945-1955; the Near East, 1951-1953; and Burma, 1953-1955. The remainder of the collection is composed of copies or drafts of Wyman's books, articles, addresses, book reviews, materials related to his professional and political activities, and personal diaries.
