Abstract: Rolls show ownership and description of taxable lands, assessed valuation of each parcel, taxes due, and record of payment of taxes. Total valuation, taxes due, and taxes paid are shown for personal property. For the years 1854-1870 all tax rolls were retained; after 1870 rolls were retained for each year for the city of River Falls and generally for the decennial years for all other local units; for the years 1975-1995 only tax rolls for every fifth year have been retained.

The creamery was sold March 26, 1920, to the Pierceville Cooperative Co., which operated the business under that name.

Sublette and Company, 1826-1888; of Beniot Vasquez, 1811-1842, and of Thomas Forsyth of Rock Island, Illinois, 1811-1822. Many of these records are in French.

Abstract: Collection contains a diary, written in French, by Decramer, dating from October 1861 through October 1865, and an English translation. Decramer was a member of the 1st Wisconsin Infantry Regiment (reorganized), Company D. The diary provides a daily description of Decramer's movements and his impressions of the war.

Abstract: Correspondence, sacramental records, minutes, reports, clippings, and photographs of the Pilgrim Congregational Church which formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1901 and dissolved in 1970. The records document church history through the minutes of congregation meetings and trustees' meetings, and the records of the Deacons and Deaconesses Board, Women's Guild, the Pilgrim Missionary Society, the Men's Club, the Sunday School, and the Friendship Bible class.

Abstract: Records of Pine View Health Care Center, a Marinette County mental health institution located near the city of Peshtigo. Built in 1906, the institution was first known as the Marinette County Asylum for the Chronic Insane. In 1941 the county home and the asylum merged and was renamed the Marinette County Hospital. In 1974 the psychiatric patients were relocated and the institution became the Pine View Health Care Center. The bulk of this series consists of Insane Asylum and County Hospital records (1906-1973, plus a listing of Poor House residents (1915-1941), and a list of admissions and discharges from the Pine View Health Care Center (1974-1993). The records document patient management such as admission and discharge and for patients admitted before 1942 also provides information on individuals such as physical condition and care, treatment received, personal history and family history. Also included in this series are Pine View Auxiliary Press Books (1965-[1984]) containing programs, newspaper clippings, and photographs of resident, staff, and community activities.

Abstract: Records, 1953-2007, of the Piscatorial and Inside Straight Society, a fraternal, male-only organization made up largely of politicians, journalists, and businessmen, documenting the group's biannual gatherings in the spring and fall to hunt, fish, play cards, drink, and play music. Members included Governor Walter J. Kohler, future Governor Warren Knowles, and Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird. The trips are documented extensively in photographs.
