Scope and Content Note: Additions, 1927-1972, consisting of letters, articles, and press materials of Louis P. Lochner. The letters were written while Lochner was with the Associated Press in Berlin (1927-1940); on a U.S. lecture tour after internment in Bad Nauheim (1941-1942); on assignment for Hoover Library in Germany (1946-1947); from Lebanon (Pennsylvania) during heart treatment (1949); from Essen, Germany on a research trip (1952-1953); and during examination of UN information services (1958). Also included are many letters to and from Herbert Hoover concerning the library project, several newspaper articles written by Lochner, and documentation of a University of Wisconsin (Madison) School of Journalism function held in his honor. In addition there are four photographs (1970-1972, undated).
