(4 archives boxes) of negatives and transparencies Scope and Content Note: Black and white, and color prints, negatives, and transparencies including portraits of Obey; photographs with political leaders, family, and constituents; photography for his early campaign literature (by Fritz Albert); and publicity shots taken in the district as well as during committee meetings and foreign diplomatic travel. Among the other extensively photographed individuals are President Jimmy Carter, President Bill Clinton, Vice-President Walter Mondale, Senator Edmund Muskie, Senator Gaylord Nelson, and Pope John Paul II. The semi-candid district shots, many which have original negatives, date from 1975 to 2000. About 225 images are available online on the Wisconsin Historical Society's website. Note Prints are housed at the Stevens Point ARC and the negatives and transparencies are housed at WHS Headquarters in Madison. Prints: An '*' (asterisk) indicates that negatives and/or transparencies are available in Madison for some or all of the prints in the folder. Some images, including several from Ground Zero following 9/11, are available online.
