Scope and Content Note: Collection contains closed investigation and arrest case files, 1960, for cases number 8954 to 9225, regarding alcohol and prostitution violations. Files list the bar or tavern involved and information on the offender, who is generally the owner of the establishment in cases such as serving alcohol to a minor or refilling bottles. Files are included for each minor arrested for underage drinking in each establishment. Details of the arrest, the offenders and the investigation leading up to it are generally included. The collection also contains prostitution investigation and arrest records, including detailed investigator reports on sting operations involving brothels. Arrest records are present for the owners of the houses, as well as each "inmate."
