The collection is composed of administrative records, and lacks correspondence entirely. Included are the original WHDC constitution and by-laws, with all amendments and restatements through 1969, including the 1961 revised constitution; handbooks, which explain the organization to members; a history and creed; and lists of executive board members and district and committee chairmen. The bulk of the collection is comprised of minutes of annual meetings and executive board meetings, with associated reports from committees, districts and counties. Financial records include annual reports and budget statements, membership information, and receipts and expenses. There are also a few plans for suggested programs and workshops.
