Subseries: SERIES 10: Arbitrator's Memorandum Decisions, 1932-1954 2 boxes : From time to time the arbitrator deemed it advisable to settle certain types of cases by writing a memorandum rather than by issuing a formal decision. These cases usually involved a single employer, or did not involve principles of general application within the industry. Often the memoranda decisions referred to formal decisions of earlier dates. Copies were available to all parties of the National Labor Agreement, but distribution to the parties involved was required. : By memorandum number, which is generally chronological.
