Papers of a Republican legislator representing Wisconsin's 57th Assembly District (Appleton area) from 1978-1996. Included is correspondence and his legislative subject files which also includes statements and testimonies and press releases. The correspondence files consist primarily of memos between Prosser and his colleagues in the State Legislature and the Assembly Republican Caucus. The subject files consist of correspondence and memos, photocopied news clippings, and reference materials relating to the issues with which representative Prosser was involved. These issues include employment relations, uniform state laws, the Fox River system, criminal justice and public safety, energy and utilities, and elections. The press releases include news releases from Prosser as well as other state legislators.
