: Draper's manuscript copy of John Magill's, The Pioneer to the Kentucky Emigrant: A Brief Topographical and Historical Description of the State of Kentucky (Frankfort, Kentucky, 1832). Preceding the text is Draper's statement about the history and ownership of the original pamphlet which he copied in 1872 and his index to biographical references within Magill's account. Also contained in the pamphlet and copy are Magill's poems and hymns including one entitled “The American Revolution.”
