Scope and Content Note: Copies of reports, 1811-1813, made by Harrison to the secretary of war. In the nineteenth century these reports were in War Department files in Washington, D.C., where they were transcribed for Benjamin Drake in 1839. Preceding the reports for 1811 in 1 X are a letter (1839) to Drake about the transcripts and a few articles and published materials gathered by Draper; iconographic items include an engraved portrait of Harrison, printed drawings depicting him in military action, and pictures of a commemorative medal. Harrison's reports for 1812 are in 2 X; those for 1813 fill 3 X and 4 X.
