Container Title
2001/082
Part 1 (2001/082): Original Collection, 1977-1990
Physical Description: 0.6 c.f. (3 archives boxes) and 3 tape recordings
Scope and Content Note: Working files of the staff attorneys of the Secretary of State concerning enforcement of lobby laws, 1977-1990. Included are legal documents, notes and memoranda, correspondence, and data sheets for preliminary investigations. Of interest are files on William Bablitch, Gary Goyke, and Tommy Thompson. The majority of the investigations concern investigations of Schedule D on which lobbyists recorded entertainment expenses for public officials. These are not the investigation case files described in the RDA, and they are therefore open for research. The tape recordings are a discussion of audit guidelines necessitated by lobby law legislation in 1979.
