W.H. Osborne formed Wisconsin Malleable Iron Company in 1878, and in 1903 acquired the
Lakeside Malleable Castings Company of Racine. Wisconsin Malleable Iron Company was
dissolved in 1936. Osborne's son, William V. Osborne became president of Lakeside
Malleable Castings Company, which became Lakeside Sales Ltd. under the direction of
Lucien G. Osborne.
