The collection consists of board and branch meeting minutes, brochures, certificates,
correspondence, scholarship information, association projects, such as the Girl
Scouts' Sister-to-Sister Summit in 1998 and the Wisconsin
Women: A Gifted Heritage book, treasurer reports, the Northshore Beacon newsletters, The Bulletin newsletters, the Badger
Briefs newsletters, policies and bylaws, and photographs. The
photographs, which date from 1991 to 2003, depict various conventions and
installation dinners, a Lake Geneva outing from 1999, and other activities.
A cassette tape, created in 1981, recounting AAUW's history, is also included in the
collection. Newspaper articles, dating from the 1980s to 1990s, document various
meetings and workshops/conventions attended, and also focus on individual North
Shore Milwaukee Branch members and association projects. Scrapbooks, dating from
1967 to 1993, provide more in-depth information about the association, and include
photographs, mostly from conventions, dinners, and outings; newspaper articles;
newsletters; convention materials; and member lists.
