Will H. Rockett served in many capacities during his career, publishing articles and books,
directing radio scripts and dramas, and teaching writing. Rockett also served as writer,
producer, and director for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation from 1969 to 1978 and as
editor or contributing editor for several periodicals, including Aramco World Magazine. He was chair and associate professor for the Department of
Communication at Seton Hall University, and dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities
and professor of Communication at State University of New York, Fredonia. Rockett was
appointed dean of fine arts at UW-Milwaukee in June 1992. He died on September 2, 1993.
