The McLeod Locomotive Collection consists of photographs of locomotives of railroad,
industrial, and logging companies from all over the United States and Canada.
Photographs of the locomotives include steam, diesel, electric, and motor cars. The
photos come from 175 different companies, most which are railroad companies, though
some private industrial companies are included as well. Companies with a lot of
coverage include Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, Chicago & Northwestern,
the Omaha Road, Soo Line, and Northern Pacific. Some are reproductions of older
photographs.
