Time and payroll records of the predecessor companies, 1881-1902, have been microfilmed. Most post-1902 records once in Series 2Z were returned to International Harvester. Remaining in hard copy are volumes dating 1892-1938 of several of the predecessor companies and postmerger divisions. The hard copy volumes generally are not labelled with call numbers or volume numbers. The descriptions incorporated in the list below are drawn from a survey done by Historical Society staff member Jack Jallings in 1970-1971.
