Daniel August Klapproth was born in 1918. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in New York, Panama, Texas and Mississippi. Klapproth served in the U.S. Army until 1945, and left the service as a Staff Sergeant. He died in 1981 at the age of 62.
