This collection contains 11 digital audio files of interviews from the Milwaukee Police
Department: The Latino Police Experience, created between 2012 to 2014. Interviews vary
between 10-75 minutes, depending on the interviewee. Topics include officers' educational
background, prejudices faced both in getting trained as an officer as well as on the job,
how being a Latinx police officer can have a positive affect on a predominantly Latinx
community, and other experiences as an officer in the Milwaukee community.
