Abstract:
The UWM Library Staff Association collection contains records documenting the association's finances, membership, contests and fundraisers, parties, correspondence among members, election results, and events. It also contains photographs taken by Wilma Geise, who at the time worked in Golda Meir Library's Cataloging Department. The photographs are of Library Staff Association functions beginning in 1974, and include images of employees at Golda Meir Library ceremonies, picnics, and various types of parties including holiday, retirement, and anniversary parties. The collection also contains photographs of Chancellor Schroeder's inauguration ceremony, and construction of Golda Meir Library.
