There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all
members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin
Statutes 19.21-19.39).
Wilma Giese donated the photographs to the Archives in November 2001. Leslie Heinrichs
transferred more records to the Archives in January 2002 (accession 2001-048). Wilma Giese
donated a photo album and photographs in March 2006 (2005-048). The UWM Libraries' Office
of the Director donated the staff cookbook in August 2008. An unknown donor donated the 1977
staff cookbook in March 2022.
Emily Castle processed the collection at the Archives in 2002. The original scrapbooks
have been dismantled, and the photographs removed for preservation purposes. Lucy Waldrop
added the 2005-048 accession and the cookbook to the collection in September 2008.
Christel Maass added some additional materials removed from a Library director accession
(2009-014) in March 2017. Phyllis Reske added some additional materials from a
Library director accession (2006-070) in August 2017. Derek Webb added an additional item
in March 2022.
