Alpha Tau Delta is a professional fraternity for nurses founded in 1921. Chapters are
established in accredited schools of nursing.
The UWM student chapter, Alpha Gamma, was established in 1976 and remained in operation
until 1987. The organization provided professional, educational, and social growth for
nursing students.
