Abstract:
Records document the responsibilities of the associate dean of the School of Fine Arts. The associate dean worked closely with the School's Departments of Art, Dance, Film, Music, and Theatre to develop new courses and programs; prepare class schedules; assist in budget and staffing; and oversee class and teacher evaluations. The collection also contains correspondence and brochures for fine art events, performances, and exhibits on-campus and in the community; and minutes and correspondence from meetings and committees in which the associate dean of fine arts participated concerning administration of faculty and curriculum. In addition, the collection documents off-campus public relations activities in which the associate dean participated, such as attending art and faculty conferences on behalf of the dean and working on fine art projects within the community.
