Biography/History

The Architects’ Urban Design Assistance Team (AUDAT) was created to study & make recommendations for revitalization of parts of Milwaukee’s downtown to the City of Milwaukee’s Department of City Development (DCD). It was established as an independent entity in 1973 and architects from many Milwaukee firms were involved in the study. Architect Maynard Meyer of Maynard W. Meyer & Associates was the chairman of AUDAT and oversaw its operations from his firm’s offices in Milwaukee.
