This collection contains records from the City of Milwaukee’s 11th District
Alderwoman, Annette E. Scherbert. The original subject headings from aldermanic
staff have been kept intact as much as possible. This collection includes reports,
statistics, publications, correspondence, ordinance copies/drafts, newspaper
clippings and articles. The largest subject is related to the Indian Council of the
Elderly Housing Project which also includes the folders on Armour Park. The housing
project was proposed within the Armour Park area. There are also numerous folders
related to guns/handguns. The earliest gun related materials that predate
Scherbert’s aldermanic tenure are all photocopies.
