Abstract:
Statistical reports on the staff, facilities, finances and inmate populations of Wisconsin state and county public welfare institutions, including psychiatric hospitals, prisons and reform schools. Included are annual, biannual and biennial reports of institutions submitted under §§ 46.14 and 46.15, Wisconsin Statutes, as well as statistical compilations on topics such as venereal disease, bed capacity, and the social and demographic characteristics of inmate populations. Most of the reports date from the 1930s to the 1950s.
