Abstract:
Records of the Wisconsin Independent Schools Athletic Association (WISAA) and its predecessor, the Wisconsin Catholic Interscholastic Athletic Asssociation (WCIAA), whose purpose was to foster competition among the state’s private secondary schools. Included are annual statistics for the nine boys' sports (bulk 1950s) and seven girls' sports (bulk 1980s-1990s) recognized by WISAA documenting state champions, scores of tournament and championship games, records, coaches' names, and the names of some of the participating athletes. Other records document the history of the organization, its dissolution in 2000, and the demographics of member schools.
