The Woessner papers contain materials from Warren Woessner, a poet and cofounder of the
Abraxas Magazine. Included in the collection are numerous poetry drafts and notes, personal
correspondence and correspondence pertaining to both published works and individual poems,
two notebooks of poetry and clippings, and various little magazine volumes with letters to
Woessner. Additionally, there are reviews written by Woessner and some correspondence to
Woessner concerning the Abraxas magazine. The collection also has photographs of Woessner
from 1976 to 2007 and a handful of audio recordings of poetry readings given by
Woessner.
