Researchers must use access copies of electronic records, available in the
Archives' reading room. Handling of the lantern slides requires the assistance
of an archivist. There are no other access restrictions on the materials, and
the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state
law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection
(Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).
Curative Care Network donated the collection to the Archives in July 2010
(accession 2010-006). The Archives received additional records in August
2011.
Cate Sering and Christel Maass processed the collection from October 2010 to
March 2011.
In January 2012, Bob Jaeger removed 57 safety film negatives and placed them with
other safety film negatives.
Christel Maass updated the finding aid in April 2019 to include information about
the unprocessed additions.
Shiraz Bhathena updated the finding aid to include digital files in September
2020.
Films and videos were digitized by SceneSavers (Covington, Kentucky) in fall
2010. Preservation master files were created as avi files; access copies as mp4
files.
