Abstract: Records of a committee appointed by Governor Lucey in 1971 to advise the Health Policy and Program Council and the Bureau of Comprehensive Health Planning of the Department of Health and Social Services on health planning issues; the committee issued its final report, Health Care for Wisconsin, in November, 1972. Included is information collected at public hearings around the state; reports; administrative correspondence of chairman David Carley and others; planning documents; research material concerning health services, chiropractic, and intensive care, medical insurance, education of health care providers and consumers. Additional published reports and research materials are held by the WHS Library.

Abstract: Records, mainly 1989-2000, of the state Conservation Congress, an independent citizens organization staffed by the Division of Legal Services of the Department of Natural Resources that provides information to the Natural Resource Board. Some issues prompted correspondence from individuals who did not attend the local or statewide meetings; extensively documented is mourning dove hunting for which only a sample has been retained.

Abstract: Records of a group of citizens in Paris Township, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, protesting designation of the township as a possible site for the location of a projected nuclear power plant by the Wisconsin Electric Power Company. From January 1973 to June 1974 the group engaged in activities to demonstrate the community's united opposition to the proposed facility, and to have Paris Township removed from consideration for the site. The records include the Committee's membership list, petitions, correspondence with the Wisconsin Electric Power Company, public officials, and others, copies of press releases and other public communications, newspaper clippings, and materials related to lobbying for state power plant-siting legislation. The collection also includes miscellaneous literature related to nuclear power issues generally, originating from anti-nuclear groups operating at the national or regional as well as the state or local levels.

Abstract: Web collection of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee websites and affiliated sites crawled by the UWM Libraries, Archives Department using the Internet Archive's Archive-It web crawler beginning in 2012, as well as pages crawled by the Internet Archive from 1997 to 2017. The web collection includes websites, blogs, Facebook pages, Flickr pages, and Twitter feeds created by various divisions, offices, and departments of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Abstract: Records of the Wisconsin section of the American Camping Association (ACA), a national professional camping organization with a mission to advance camping as an educational and recreational experience, further the professional standards of camp operation, exchange information among camp professionals, and serve as the voice for camp leaders in national and local affairs. Also included is documentation of Camp Robinhood, an ACA affiliated camp for girls that operated between 1933 and 1956 in Sherwood Forest (Green Lake, Wisconsin), including a film, DVD, and photographs.
