The records in this series document the processes by which the general business functions
of UWM were administered. The records focus particularly on the 1960s through the 1970s,
when William Komsi served as assistant chancellor of administrative affairs. Subjects of
particular interest include: labor relations at UWM, including struggles between the
university and AFL-CIO Local 82; UWM's acquisition of the Uihlein House in Milwaukee; and
budget planning for the division.
