The School of Fine Arts Office of Development and Marketing is responsible for the
planning, advertising, and fund-raising for events sponsored by the School of Fine Arts and
its Departments of Art, Film, Music, and Theatre and Dance. Events include the Great Artist
Series, the Fine Arts Quartet, the International Festival of the Art Song, and the
Professional Theatre Training Program. The office began as the Fine Arts Programming Office
in 1960. In 1994 the name was changed to the Office of Development and Marketing to reflect
the additional responsibility of fund-raising.
