Alumni Association members include alumni from UWM and its predecessor institutions, the
Wisconsin State Normal School, Milwaukee (1885-1927), the Milwaukee State Teachers College
(1927-1951), the Wisconsin State College, Milwaukee (1951-1956), and the UW Extension
Division (1920-1956). Alumni began to hold regular meetings as early as 1904. The UWM Alumni
Association was incorporated in November 1965.
Publications of the Alumni Association include: the Alumni
Report (1965-1968), Alumni News (1969-1983), Kenwood (1983-1988), and UWM Today
(1988-present).
