There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law.

The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).

Acquisition Information

An unknown individual transferred the initial collection to the Archives prior to 1989. The provenance of the collection is unclear, and it is not known if the records were gathered together from several sources. Additional accessions were donated by former Department Chair Dr. Forest Stearns (1993-014, 1994-004, 1995-037, 1996-013, 1996-043, and 1996-050).

Processing Information

Mark A. Vargas processed the initial collection at the Archives in December 1993. Ryan Claringbole processed the additional accessions in April 2007.
