This collection contains records from the City of Milwaukee’s 5th District Alderman,
Daniel F. Schramm. The collection contains correspondence, reports, subject files,
clippings, photographs and publications. Most materials are regarding the Milwaukee
Police Department and the 1993 Milwaukee water crisis / cryptosporidium outbreak.
The crisis began in spring of 1993 when residents began getting sick and
cryptosporidium was discovered in the water supply. There are also some typed copies
of Schramm’s speeches and materials on the Miller Park Stadium.
