The Environmental Education Council of Greater Milwaukee was formed in 1971 to
provide information and support to the numerous environmental organizations in the
Milwaukee area. During the Council’s existence the members met regularly, held
workshops, published a newsletter, and raised funds to support the efforts of the
Council. Due to lack of funding, the Board of Directors of the Environmental
Education Council of Milwaukee advocated the voluntary dissolution of the
organization in 1975.
