The Environmental Education Council of Greater Milwaukee was formed to provide information and support to the numerous environmental organizations in the Milwaukee area. This collection includes reports, correspondence, membership information and newsletters ranging from 1973-1975.

The Environmental Education Council of Greater Milwaukee was formed in 1971 to provide information and support to the numerous environmental organizations in the Milwaukee area. During the Council’s existence the members met regularly, held workshops, published a newsletter, and raised funds to support the efforts of the Council. Due to lack of funding, the Board of Directors of the Environmental Education Council of Milwaukee advocated the voluntary dissolution of the organization in 1975.

This collection consists of material related to the activities of the Environmental Education Council of Greater Milwaukee in the period between 1973 and 1975 and includes reports, correspondence, membership information and newsletters.

The subjects are arranged alphabetically and then chronologically within each folder.
