View over Fróðá parish, looking eastward from Ólafsvík. On 11 August 1841, riding from Ólafsvík to Krossnes, Jónas may well have followed the route of the travellers in the picture. The farm Fróðá is located in the middle distance, not far from where the blue of the fjord extends farthest to the right. The watercolor was painted by W. G. Collingwood on 24 June 1897.
