When inventorying each folder's contents, Archives staff followed the basic descriptive pattern found in Edmund Berkeley's Autographs and Manuscripts: A Collector's Manual. Occasionally, other descriptive terms are used as well. Note that Signature in our inventory does not necessarily designate the hand of the contributor.
