Part 2 (AE 029-AE 044, CC 170-CC 175, CC 991-CC 992): Additions, 1955-1960 24 reels of film (16 mm, black and white, sound, approximately 15 minutes each) : Twenty-two episodes of Robert Edward Gard's pioneer television series, Wisconsin Is My Doorstep, which aired on WHA-TV from 1955 to 1960. In this series, Gard explores topics related to Wisconsin folk life and history. Gard hosts several guests including Marjorie Harbaugh who appears frequently to sing ballads and play autoharp; Aaron Bohrod, a Wisconsin artist who sketches to illustrate topics; and Wisconsin Historical Society curators Paul Vanderbilt and Warren Wittry.
