Diaries in German of Henry Esch, an Evangelical Church itinerant missionary in Sauk County, Wisconsin and elsewhere in southern Wisconsin and Iowa. A list of sermon texts, correspondence, a summary of his work in the mission at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and biographical accounts are also present.
