Also included is the memorial address delivered by the United States Congress after La Follette's death as well as an address entitled, “The Statue of Robert Marion La Follette Unveiled in the United States Capitol” delivered on April 25, 1929. The newspaper clippings document La Follette's political life and include a notebook with brief and sporadic descriptions of the articles.
