There are no volumes 2, 3, 5, 7, or 9 in the grantor index and no volumes 4, 6, or 8-10 in the grantee index. Despite the non-consecutive volume numbers, this is probably a complete set of the Grantor/Grantee indexes. Information from the WPA Historical Records Survey (Series 1953) suggests that the “missing” volumes form a separate set of indexes to mortgages.
