These records provide the names of persons involved in land transfers, a description of the land, and the amount of money involved. The deeds are arranged on microfilm according to the original volume in which they were recorded. These volumes, in turn, were arranged chronologically according to the recording dates of the deeds they contained. For example, microfilm reel 1 contains all of what was originally volume B. Volume B, in turn, included deeds from the years 1835-1839. Note that in many cases, a volume will overlap two separate microfilm reels because it did not fit entirely onto one reel. There is no volume A, I, V, Y, or Z.
