Wallace has been active in the television industry since the early 1950s. Among his credits are anthologies such as Armstrong Circle Theatre, Kaiser Aluminum Hour, and Kraft Mystery Theatre; dramatic series such as Combat!, 87th Precinct, The Lieutenant, The Nurses, Sam Benedict, and Star Trek; and the comedy series The Wackiest Ship in the Army. He won the Christopher Award for his script, “The Second Family” (Armstrong Circle Theatre).
