Little biographical information is available about writer Art Wallace. The brief description that follows has been gleaned from the papers in his collection. Wallace has been active in the television industry since the early 1950s. Among his credits are anthologies such as Armstrong Circle Theatre, Kaiser Aluminum Hour, and Kraft Mystery Theatre; dramatic series such as Combat!, 87th Precinct, The Lieutenant, The Nurses, Sam Benedict, and Star Trek; and the comedy series The Wackiest Ship in the Army. He won the Christopher Award for his script, “The Second Family” (Armstrong Circle Theatre).
