Research in Correctional Effectiveness examines the history of offenders including
police contacts, employment history, income, social skills, and personality. Early
Release, Intensive Supervision Study looks at prisoner behavior while incarcerated and
assesses a prisoner's maturity, social relationships, hostility, and school or work
experiences. Also of note are two studies with prisoner completed questionnaires
(Prisoner Attitudes and Inmate Group Files).

cartons) : A variety of studies related to mental health, 1960-1969. The largest study, "Projections of Mental Retardation in Wisconsin" aimed to
determine the number of people in Wisconsin who would need care and services. The
Mendota State Hospital Remodeling study also aimed to gather demographic information
about the need for mental health services. There is also a large number of smaller
studies about mental health covering topics such as adolescents, family care,
restraints, multiple births, and senility [dementia].
