Abstract:
Fifty-three holograph orchestrations of composer, conductor, and arranger Nelson Riddle (1921-1985). Prepared by Riddle in his capacity as music director for Capital Records, the arrangements are all for Ella Fitzgerald recordings of Ira Gershwin songs. Each score is signed by Fitzgerald, Gershwin, and Riddle.
