Scope and Content Note: Most of these recordings are disc recordings, circa 1931-1952, of radio and television programs produced under the supervision of Dr. Bauer as director of the AMA's Bureau of Health and Public Instruction. They are divided into three groups: Dramatizations--series and single programs; Discussions--broadcasts, interviews, speeches, round table groups, etc.; and Convention proceedings, speeches, and interviews. Arrangement within the groups is only roughly alphabetical. Most of the discs are 16 inch, 33 1/3 rpm, with outside starting. As requested, tape copies of these discs are being produced. The tape user copies are filed at call number Audio 1277A.
