Scope and Content Note: Administrative material, 1969-1980, related to the management of the vocational rehabilitation program. There is some information about facilities that host clients. Of note are file reviews, which document the activities of regional offices and the office's rehabilitation successes. Record related to the homecraft program document the program's establishment, as well as the training both teachers and clients received. There are photographs of homecraft projects and marketing displays and a set of the Wisconsin Homecrafter newsletter which contains information about individual homecrafters and project ideas. Staff office correspondence is also included.

The IYDP was a United Nations sponsored year of recognition with an emphasis on equalization of opportunities, rehabilitation and prevention of disabilities. Records include city and county planning materials, publicity material, and correspondence. This accession also includes information about programs for the blind, rehabilitation programs, and rehabilitation research.
