VHS videotapes and Congressional Record pages, 1969-1973 and 1980-1988. The videotapes are primarily C-SPAN programs, floor proceedings and committee hearings and markup sessions recorded off the air in Obey's office. They are of inferior quality and were retained pending improved access via C-SPAN's online index. The tapes date from 1984 to 2006, although many are undated. Many are compilations of short segments. The Congressional Record pages of Obey floor remarks are on deteriorating high-acid paper and were retained for use pending free online access.
